Oldtimers! Help me ID a revolver from my memory!

In the late 60s, a family friend taught me to shoot a .22LR revolver. It had the profile similar to the Arminius w/o VR or the square butt High Standard Sentinel. Nickel plated, plastic grips, 3-4" BBL, DA, 8-9 shots, fixed sights and the cylinder came out when the cylinder pin was removed like the NAA minis. The pin was then used to poke out the empty cases. Any ideas who may have made this and a model name??? It was not a new gun in 1968. The old family friend went to that big range in the sky about 15 years ago so he is not a source of info any longer.

Literally tons of guns could fit that description, from American Iver Johnson and H&R from the 1890's to the 1960's and imports post-WWII.

The double action and pull-pin do narrow things down a bit, but that is still just too little information to go on.

Sorry.

I had a Harrington & Richardson 922 that was made in the 1940s Description fits what your describing. The revolver had the hexagon barrel. Single action/double action, loading and unloading done by taking the cylinder out and pushing the shell casing out.
This might be the revolver your describing.

Howard
