Old Winchester Model 69

I was given an old Winchester Model 69. It was full of dirt and dust with significant rust on the exterior. One spot looked like a dog or cat urinated on it. It was badly pitted. I used Hoppe's #9 and switched to KROIL soaking and using #0000 steel wool or #2000 wet/dry. The most serious rust and pitting is down to very minor damage. But the bluing is gone in that area.

After a lot of work, I was able to get it working and cleaned up. I have decided to strip and reblue the barrel. Any advice? Are the over the counter re-bluing kits worth using?

I am also looking for some documentation on how to disassemble the bolt for cleaning. I got the bolt cleaned up using "Gun Scrubber".

Judging by the safety, I would venture to say it is one of the first Winchester 69's..
 
It helps to warm the metal with a hot-air gun before applying cold-blue.

For cold reblueing, after degreasing with denatured alcohol, I try Brownells Oxpho-Blue.

If that doesn't do the trick, I try Brownell's Oxpho-Blue Creme. As a last resort, Kasey's Black Magic sometimes does the trick.

Any idea how to disassemble and reassemble the bolt?
It works. I cleaned it with aerosol gun scrubber. I am of the school that if it works don't fix it.

I am taking to to south Texas ranch later this week and fire it to check it's accuracy.. If it is accurate, I will proceed.

The bolt shown in the video has the safety on the side as with Model 69A's.
