Old Stevens "Visible" 22 pump

Was in my LGS and they had an old 22 pump, and I'm a old stuff guy so I asked to see it.

It was a Stevens Visible pump and I had never heard of one and neither had the LGS owner..

Did a little google search to learn they were made from 1907 or so till 1932.

They were asking 325.00 and I'd say it was in 95.3% condition.

Is this reasonable?
Thanks

Be aware that a contemporary nickname for the Visible Loader was "Miserable Loader."

Make sure it works before you plunk down the cash; They're not easy to correct if they aren't working right.

I shot my Stevens Visible Loader the other day and it fed, fired and ejected 22 LR ammo just fine.

I must have bought it to see what they are like. Since I have better 22's I have no other use for it.

While I have $325 I would not spend it on one again.

Visible loading Stevens

I'd have to agree with Gyvel on this. I bought a Visible Loader thru Gunbroker about a year ago, and I've just about given up on trying to make it function properly. It's reasonably accurate but a pain in the butt about jamming etc.
