A friend of mine posed the following question to to me. I'd appreciate any help offered.
"In any case, what is the type of adjustable sight that they used to retrofit to pin guns in the early days of 1911 modification? I believe that the sight was actually made for a revolver of the era, and it was a common retrofit. It was quite long, and took up close to a third of the slide length. It was quite easy to use and very rugged by comparison to the other products on the market in that era. What was it called?"
