These are not nearly as old as some of the others I've seen posted here, but all three are shooters.

This is my oldest. A 1916 Colt New Service Canadian issued in .455Eley. After the war, she came back and was rechambered to .45Colt as were many S&W and New Services sold to the Commonwealth.

The next is a 1937 S&W Brazil contract in .45ACP. Paid $100 for her. Fun gun to play with.

Last is a 1942 Webley .38S&W DAO. Cylinder play is getting bad and I don't know how much longer I'll shoot her. I paid $50 for her so I think I got my money's worth over the last few years.

Let's see your pre-WWII revolvers.

I really like the old revolvers. No camera as yet. Mine consist of a pre-war Colt SAA in 45 Colt, S&W US property marked M1917, Russian Nagant revolver and 3rd model S&W Lemon Squeezer.

Forgive the rebuild, please.

Pre-war and pre-Victory Model M1905 Hand Ejector, Lend-Leased to the Brits and Australia. (See the D↑D on the frame below the cylinder?) US PROPERTY marked on the topstrap. The barrel was a roached sewer pipe, and the original .38 S&W cylinder had bad timing problems. I spent $25.00 for the gun, just to keep the frame and lockwork. A Model 10 cylinder in .38 Special found it's way onto the gun, as did the 6" Apex heavy barrel and underlug. It sports either an Aristocrat sight rib, as shown, or an Aristocrat Weaver rail for optics. The lockwork was already pretty smooth, no Victory Model safety bits inside, some judicious polishing and an overtravel stop inside the rebound spring took care of the rest. A quick-action cylinder release latch completed the transformation to a PPC/Steel Challenge revolver. My favorite S&W wheelgun:
