Old dirty Harry 44 rear sights

well after deer hunting with my old Model 29 with an aimpoint on it for years, I wanted to go back to the iron sights. Yup lost my rear sights cause I am a forgetful old geezer. It is a 6.5 inch barrel on the S+W 44 mag. Anyone out there help me locate the right one. I am a newbee to the forum.

Dan -- when you open the cylinder on your 29, inside thr frame is is stamped 29 or 29- something. This will determine the sigt that you need.
 
good thing

i used one of those non drill mounts for the aimpoint so it was easy to remove. wish i had not lost the iron sight, but the only thing golden in the golden years is the color of our urine lol :)

I needed the old checkerboard style. I found a new old stock ... dang expensive too. But after a dozen calls I was happy to find one as even s+W said .. good luck bucko
 
You are lucky sir! Most of my random s+w parts are latter, I do not have a Sight for that gun and you are correct they are harder to source.
