Old Colt

A couple of years ago I purchased a Colt Cobra and have never looked back. I really like the gun for it's classic look and feel.

However, I've always wondered what year it was made. The little revolver doesn't have a extractor shroud (I think this makes it a first edition) with the s. number of LW35838.

Any idea when it was made?

Steven,

Thanks for putting a date on my old colt. I've always wondered when it was made.

The pistol predates the owner by 18 years and used to be my ankle/backup weapon when I was a LEO. It needs to be reblued and touched up...but it still shoots just fine.

Great gun, Gator!

I had the same gun, same vintage but it was called an "Agent" super lil piece.

BigG,

They just made'em right back them.

I once hit a bowling pin at 50 yards with my 2 inch Cobra. (Can't say I could do it twice, because I couldn't). But that just shows you the quality of these little guns.
