Old Brass

I picked up some unusual (at least for me) brass after shooting at the range today.

They are labeled EC 42 and ECS 42.

After a bit of research I've learned they are military brass from Evansville, IN plants (I guess there were two) from 1942.

I was about to throw the 15 of them away but thought I'd check here first to see if anyone collects these sorts of things.
 
Chrysler got into manufacturing ammo in Evansville after an arsenal was opened in Eu Claire WI. the Eu Claire head stamp was EC, Chrysler being vain wanted the EC head stamp so the EC in Eu Claire was changed to EW and Chrysler in Evansville IN. got the EC head stamp, then they started another plant, the 'S' was used to distinguish to two different plants operated by Chrysler in Evansville, the 'S' stood for Sunbeam? one case was aluminum the other was brass. Chrysler did a lot of research as in 'If we run out of brass, what can we use in it's place?'
