old aimpoint pro or new vortex sparc II

I've just got a new AR that in my mind is an that I think will become my favorite. I have an Aimpoint PRO on the old one now and am getting a Vortex Spac II. I don't have much experience with the Vortex, though the specs (without the mount) have it lighter. Which should I mount on the rifle I'll be shooting the most (both are in my mind 100 yard and in guns)?

I'm partial to the aimpoints, I have 2. They are much brighter on the highest setting, which helps in bright light and against some targets. Also, battery life is pretty amazing. I've looked at the vortex in the store, and it seems fine, it's just not quite what the aimpoints are. Of course, neither is the price.
