Hello folks,

Not really a gun collector but found this old rifle in an attic of a 1875 home we were restoring. Rifle has no markings. Finished wooden stock, well shaped, stained and varinished. Barrel has a peabled finish on barrel and a T sight..

Stock has a brass fitting on butt and there is a very small storage area set
in brass piece which is accessed with a small lever. Has a 2nd storage area, same design, on the trigger flange. We believe the lever on the bottom of rifle is an ejector of shell.

Gun appears old and may go back to early 1900's or late 1800's. Would appreciate hearing from anybody who may recognize this .22 rifle. Especially if you know age and/or manufactuer.

Neither trigger or lever work.
