Okay, Here's That S&W M-17...

...that I mentioned briefly last month. I found this piece at one of our Gander Mountain stores in New York, where it had been sitting in the display case for several months, priced at $210.99. When I called about it, the guy claimed it was in beautiful shape, but he had no customers interested, so he'd send it to me if I wanted it. Needless to say, I was a bit skeptical about actual condition at that price, but the guy sure sounded like he knew what he was talking about, so I had him transfer it to our store. When it arrived a couple days later, I was simply thrilled with the gun, and wasted no time in putting it on layaway. With the price that low, it didn't take long to get it paid off and home where it truly belongs. It was no surprise to find that it shoots as good as it looks, and it quickly became my wife's favorite.

Nice score! That easy a $300 gun here in NE Ohio. Hard to believe it sat for months in NY - but hey,,,they did vote the Hillary beast in right, so there's no accounting for common sense ;)

Wow, ya stole that thing. Plain and simple! It's nice though! Love those grips!

I traded gun stuff and put up some cash to get one of my two.

Here's another 17

Traded a '94 30-30 w $50 boot for this one (-3 model),at a shop no less...I figure I have 225 in it.

S/N 5K257XX....any guess on the year??

8 3/8 barrel, target trigger & hammer, box and papers, a few small spots on barrel that don't show up in pics and are not too noticeable to the naked eye

Everyone get together and come to my house for an intervention...these S&W wheelguns are getting addictive. I haven't even noticed 1911's or AR-15's the last few times in a gun store.

I knew the $5000 pool table would be useful eventually...makes a nice background for gun pics
