Scenario 1: I walk down the street, meet BG acting as maximum BG. I act as AC (armed citizen), BG goes away permanently. I either luck out or suffer under "law" of that place, at that time.

Scenario 2: I walk down street, see BG acting as maximum BG with PC (plain citizen). What do I do?

And - for effect - supposed the PC were Leo in trouble instead?

Self defense is one thing and has it's various recourse (and reaction) in law. But defending another person in peril - what can I expect the aftermath to be?

Ideas? Suggestions? Facts? I'll take them all.

1. Find cover.

2. Visually locate other BG's

3. Cell phone -- 911 ( you do carry a CCP, Concealed Cell Phone, dont you?)

AZ has a third party law in which you can use as much force as required to protect a third party.Its a touchy area but gives you something to go on.I don't know about where you are at check and see if you have a third party law there.

We have a criminal jury system which is superior to any in the world;
and its efficiency is only marred by the difficulty of finding twelve men
every day who don't know anything and can't read.
