OK,WHICH ONE...

The 460ES makes no sense to me. The 460 needs a longer barrel to reach its potential. It's like taking an Indy car and putting 13" donut spare tires on it.

I'd pick the 480 SRH in a heartbeat. If you really want a 460, go with one of the Smiths with a longer barrel or a BFR.

My vote is for the 480. Wont beat you as bad at the range, ammo is cheaper, kill just about any thing with it and its a SRH.

I'd get the 480 (if I had to buy one of them), but only because I kind of dig oddball stuff. Don't get one unless you reload or prepare to pay mucho dinero to shoot the thing. It's probably not that economical to reload for either unless you cast your own bullets. .475" isn't exactly a run of the mill bore size.

I agree with the previous poster who said .460 is wasted in the short barrel.
