OK, When DO we start?

At what point do we actively, literally start to fight back? I mean what does a traitor politician have to do to get in the way of an "accident". Has DF of Kali crossed the line yet? TK of Mass? Anyone? Where is the line, and what happens when its crossed? My personal line has not been approached yet, but I live in a state that hasn't lost its collective mind yet. Some of you live and stay in states that have moved you from citizen to the property category. How do you put up with it? When DOES it start?

TexVet,
Who says you have to start with violence? I fight like hell to get on juries. I purposefully refuse to obey laws that run opposed to my conscience, and I make it a daily ritual to practice some civil disobedience every day. Of course I share the same State with you, but don't delude yourself into thinking things are alright here. The Federal government has far outreached her grasp in this state, and will be reaping the hatred she has sown here eventually. Good governments don't create people like me. Bad Governments create tens of thousands like me.

Texasvet: You must have mistaken this for some other forum. Here at TFL we're all about sucking it up and asking for seconds.

Perhaps you might consider starting a more popular thread like "Where can I legally CCW" or some such... those go over pretty big here.

kjm: Good for you! Your actions, IMO, are more powerful than 10 NRA memberships and 100 voters. It's that little risk element of your strategy though that most gun owners can't hurdle.

To paraphrase Henry Bowman: "If you have to ask for detailed directions, you probably shouldn't tackle the project." Actually, questions are good...just that getting your briefing in public is a little silly, given who lurks here.

The time to start shooting is when you have exhausted (and I mean REALLY exhausted) all political routes, all legal routes, and all social routes to get your agenda pushed, and then, and only then can you even consider shooting, and I believe quite strongly that such insurrection is not something to be decided by one man alone, so it would be quite logical for you to ask your fellow gun owners. Indeed though, given who often lurks here, such conversations, even if hypothetical, could probably end with you under surveillance, and possibly assaulted by tanks and finally burned alive.
