OK Shotgun Experts - tell me if this is a good choice?

I'm more into rifles and handguns. Though I like shottys as well, I don't know much about them at present. In any event, I sold all my shotguns except for my Mossberg 500 HD gun.

So before April 6 rolls around (spring turkeys), I plan on getting an ALL-PURPOSE hunter for both turkeys and other game (upland birds, ducks, geese, younameit). I think I have decided on the Winchester SuperX2, model "Universal Turkey Hunter" 3.5". It's 26". My question is, is this shotgun versatile enough to be used for all types of fowl, or will the rear sight be a hindrance to shooting flying things, as opposed to turkey? Any other limitations on the versatility of this gun? It comes with 3 choke tubes, but am I limited to these only? How many total types of chokes will fit into this gun with the invector plus system?

There's this quote also: "The three included field choke tubes and removable TRUGLO® sights also make this the ideal shotgun for upland or waterfowl hunting." But I don't know if this means that the rear sight comes completely off, or if only the insert pieces are removable.

Thanks.

I believe that the sights are magnetic and will come off easliy. My experience with the Winchester is very good. It handles most any load I fed it.

I waterfowl hunt with several people that have the superX2 and it seems to be and exceptional shotgun. I am sure that the turkey hunting abilities are just as good. The only problem you might find while waterfowl hunting with a 26" bbl or shorter is that you may hurt some ears while in a blind full of hunters.
Still, it is a great gun.

That is one shotgun that can truly 'do it all'. I've shot the snot out of mine, it is as reliable as a shotgun can be. Good choice.
