:mad: I tried to sign the pettition via NetScape ( owned by AOL), and could'nt. It would not load!!! The Democraps site loaded just fine!!! I finally closed out of NetScape, and signed the thing via Internet Explorer. Just a word to the wise if you want to sign this. :mad:

about public opinion polls, Al Whore stated that he didn't believe in them (or to that affect, read http://www.wnd.com, sierratimes.com, and a few others to get the real quote). When it's "on their side" then klinton/bore will "go with public opinion" but when it's not, as in 59% of the American people want the SOB to concede, then it's "we don't believe in the polls" crap.

And this is the lunatic that 50% of the voters choose. I say we give him to them because if they are this stupid, then nothing in this world is going to save them from themselves..

And any news media or HCI goons can quote me on this!

Grrrrr is right! I can't believe the lies! In the first paragraph alone:

1. "Out-dated voting machines:" these may not be the latest technology, but they're used succesfully in many other parts of the country.

2. "Confusing ballots:" Butterfly ballots have been used in previous Palm Beach county elections successfully. This is the first time there has been a problem. Students across the country have tested these ballots with no problem...

3. "Mis-direction at the polls:" ???? first I've heard of that. Given that the precincts in question are heavily Democratic, I'd think any "mis-direction" would be in your favor.

4. "Led to a huge number of not to be counted throughout the state of Florida:" EVERY VOTE was counted and re-counted! The only votes not counted were the "under counts" where the voter voted in other categories but not for president. AND the overseas militaqry ballots that the Democrats had disqualified.

5. "That is why we've been pushing for a full"...NO, only in select, highly Democratic counties

6. "Fair..."ONLY in Democratic counties, and don't count those overseas ballots!

7. "Accurate..."machine counts are universally recognized as more accurate than hand counts...

8. "Hand count of EVERY vote" (emphasis mine): except those overseas votes that might favor Bush...

The man cannot get through a sentence without multiple lies! I cannot believe people are believing this bravo sierra!

Let us not forget why there are so many problematic ballots: the Democrats shanghaied anyone who was still breathing and took them to the polls. Didn't matter if they'd ever voted or even knew who was running. In other words, they brought millions of idiots to the polls, and the idiots did what idiots by definition do. They screwed up. So we now have legions of "disenfranchised" idiots whose votes didn't register because they couldn't follow directions.
They're victims of their own incompetence. And we must defend the victims. Where's that puking smiley?

I heard with my own ears David Boies arguing to Judge Saul that by law the gore team did not have to ask for a recount of all ballots, just the ones that they are contesting. It didn't sound anything like "wanting all votes to count". They define hypocrisy.
 
Guy's, do not fret, it's over.........

The Fla Repub's have FINALLY decided to put an end to the Fla chapter of this mess.
They are going to hold a special session, starting friday and appoint another set of electors, that will vote for Bush, NO matter WHAT the courts come up with........PERIOD, end of story.
This will stop the Fla insanity...
This will then leave Allgooorry with one last gasp........
Finding 2 electors, he can buy, bribe, coerce, blackmail, whatever.........to change their votes.
It will only take 2, and he will have more electoral votes than Dubyah...............( there are 23, or 24 states that don't make the electors vote for whom they are seated for)
So, keep your fingers crossed, and pray some of our fellow Americans CANNOT be bought off, and/ or all the above.....
The Dem's are without scruples, or mercy, they will stop at nothing, so expect anything.

Today the Florida Supreme Court heard oral arguments in our appeal to have thousands of excluded ballots counted. We are gratified that the Court took this case. The Justices were obviously well prepared. They asked informed and probing questions of both sides.

We are optimistic that the Court will agree with our view that all legal votes should be counted.

Our legal team drove home three critical points:

1) Enough votes remain to be counted to change or place in doubt the outcome of the election.

2) It is impossible to have a fair trial without looking at the evidence. In this case, the trial court ignored the evidence by not counting the votes on the ballots in question.

3) There is enough time for the Court to count the votes and determine the winner. Only with a complete count of the vote in Florida can we reach a resolution in this election that is fair and final.

Dear JadedLady;
With all due respect, Maamm, how can you possibly subject us to such Sore/Looserman dribble? It only offends and to a full degree to which you have yet to appreciate. I must give you thanks for reminding me of the anti-American / anti-freedom actions of the leaders of the democratic party. They want all votes counted unless they're republican absentee ballot votes.

As you can see by their actions, the democrats are less than excrement as as least that will serve to fertilize my fields. I hope and pray that the democratic party is soon destroyed and that freedom may yet again reign in this great land!!

Pardon my `french' but... Like H3ll if I'd even begin to consider using them to fertilize *any* of *my* fields! I have *much more* `respect' for what I grow than that! Maybe *after* they've been run through a super industrial incinerator and reduced to relatively `pure?' ash I *might* reconsider?

One can only hope and pray that this is the `death rattle' of "The Party" and the *Republic* is restored. OTOH... *If* it isn't then it's time to administer `euthanasia' as quickly as possible to relieve us of it's misery.
 
I read an interesting blurb on another message board about this "problem".

It's being said that the counties inquestion are "too poor" to buy the latest machines. Hello? Palm Beach, Broward, etc. are poor?

I used to live in Santa Rosa county in Florida's Panhandle, a Republican stronghold. Small as counties go there, yet we had modern voting machines.

I suspect the Dems WANT these punch-card systems because they can be manipulated SO easily. You don't have to punch a bogus vote for your candidate, just punch an EXTRA one in your opponent's, invalidating a vote for him.

No one, to my knowledge, has convincingly explained how that fragile chad could get dimpled without breaking at least three corners if only one card was used . They COULD get dimples in the upper cards if you put four or five in the machine in an attempt to gang-punch a quantity at a time.

I'd like to see some county-by-county analysis as to where these punch-card systems are still in use. Gut instinct tells me the majority would be Democratic strongholds, poor or otherwise.
