Just bought my 1st 1911 and my 1st 45. I have always been a 9mm fan. Have 3, well now 2. Bought a Kimber Super Match II 4" barrel"customized?" Here are some of the specs: Stainless, Parkerized slide, Fully Checkered Tulip Wood Grips, Checkered Front & Rear Straps, Smith & Alexander Arched Mag Well (Speed Chute), Trijon Night Sites, Extended Stainless Mag Release, Ultra Lite Match Trigger, 2-3/4lb pull, (2)Colt Officers Stainless Mags. Traded a Taurus PT99 w/Lasermax laser sight+$300. Did I do Ok?

I know some of you are going to say,"well if you are happy with it this you did good, etc. I shot 2 mags @25ft in a 2" group (1st time shooting a 45), so I guess it shoots ok for me. I guess I would just like to hear, assurances, opinons, or "way to go dummy".

Really need your opinons. Go ahead I can take it good or bad.

Thanks in advance for your responses, and be safe.

Personally, I think you got a terrific deal! Any time you can trade way up like that for only a few C notes, it can't be bad. I would say you made a quantum leap in trades.

Oh, and Welcome to TFL!

If you're happy and your bank account wasn't completely broken by the purchase, that's all that matters :D

Also, your accuracy isn't bad at all for a first time shooting .45s... Have fun and safe shooting :)

Here's one for ya!!
Atta boy,you done good man!!Sounds like a beautiful pistol with accuracy included.I would have done the trade myself.

Now......I wanna see those grips also:D
