Oh, What a Feeling! No Longer Last

Oh baby, Oh baby, got the results of my last USPSA Three Gun Match. Being primarily a cowboy shooter I thought I would give this a try also. My first two matches I came in dead last. Now with a couple of matches under my belt and practice, I 've moved to the middle of the pack. Got to work on that AR-15, Remington 870 and 1911 a little more. Oh what a feeling, no longer last.

Ned,
Congrats! :) I know just how you feel. Be proud of it. My club has seen it's share of folks who come out and get discouraged by their intial low placement in the matches and quit before they ever find out how good they can be. Pat yourself on the back for stickin' with it and tell the Master Class guys you're gunnin' for em'.

We have a criminal jury system which is superior to any in the world;
and its efficiency is only marred by the difficulty of finding twelve men
every day who don't know anything and can't read.

Come on, give yourself some credit. I love the shooting sports because they are "games" of mental and physical skill. Luck doesn't have much to do with it.

Heck, it has taken me two seasons to finally be competitive in PPC. I still like the old fashioned(?) target shooting.

I finally moved from last place in CDP to 12th out of 14.. but out of the 60 or so shooters last match I'm somewhere in the middle of the pack, feels really really good to see improvement in your scores. There is a match tomorrow at Owl Creek (near fort collins) and i haven't decided if i want to attend yet or not...

Kathryn, Morgan.. you guys going?? (carpool?)
