Hello All,
On my AR-10, I currently have a 3-15x scope, and Burris Fastfire 3 mounted on an offset rail for backup. But, if I keep a good cheek weld when I rotate the rifle, I can only see about 3/4 of the red dot. If I want a good sight picture, I end up with a bad cheek weld.
Now, I know that as long as I can see the dot the bullet will go there, but I've been thinking about replacing the Fastfire with a laser. Both of these are only for a backup, I don't intend to get into a CQB with this rifle.
I'm generally not a fan of lasers on rifles, but this may be one case where can see it.
Which would you all suggest?
BTW, first, I tried mounting the Fastfire on a ring mount on the scope but that didn't work at all.
Thanks,
Rex
