Hey guys,
I am currently working at Gander Mountain in their firearms department and have noticed the high demand of handguns and their increase in value from year to year. I want to receive my firearms license to sell privately out of my home but i'm not sure where to start. What are some things that I should know of before I apply? Is there money out there for guys who are willing to sell with a class 1 license? I'm not looking to get rich, but if i can make some extra money selling products that I have a lot of interest for, I will be all over it.

No you will not make a lot of money if any. You won't be able to buy guns at the same price a gander mountain does. You have to have the correct physical plant which will likely mean an upgrade that's going to cost ya some money. The cost of the actual license is not that much though like 50 bucks a year.

If you are simply doing it for extra money there would be much better business to start that would require a lot less capital and hassle.
