As it says in the title 1.6 billion rounds and now light armored vehicles for police in US cities

I could see some use for these along the violent sections of the US/Mexico border - but for the rest of the country? Are they REALLY that afraid of us gun owners?

This was news back in April of last year. After the initial kerfuffle, I haven't heard a single thing about it, or seen any of the supposed "DHS MRAPs", so I suspect there wasn't much to the story after all.

I'm not worried. I just saw the picture of that contraption.

First off, in most places, it'd be stuck in traffic. Or if out here where I live, they'd be stuck in snow bank somewhere.

Not a bad deal, since I believe in "barter", they'd have to give me some of those 1.2 bil rounds to get me to pull them out of the bar pit with my tractor.

Now back to re-building my tin foil hat.
