Personally I would opt for the genuine Oakley gloves vs counterfeit ones. You'll more than likely find that the genuine ones will take more use and abuse whereas the cheaply made knock offs will fall apart.
I can tel you from experience that the Oakley gloves are damn near indestructable...i've used mine for paintball, shooting and riding my mountain bike and motorcycle.
I wore them on one mission and after one hard knock I put my old gloves back on. Do not get me wrong, they are nice gloves but I do not have as much feel with them on. Probably 75% of the guys that got issued them used them, I gave mine to one of the guys that needed them and just wore my regular gloves from then on.
I loved them when I was back on the FOB or just playin around but I learned real quick that I was very used to the feel I had in my old gloves and did not want to re learn a new feel while at work........
The excellent thing about them is the way they are stitched/cut, they really maintain tactility better than most gloves I've used. You can also get them in Nomex and Kevlar versions.
