Nylon belt for concealed carry?

I've been getting by with the best cheap belt I could find.

I'm ready to upgrade. I like some of the leather belts I see and definitely recognize their quality.

But, I really like the infinite adjust-ability of these rigger style belts.

Would something like this 5.11 Operator belt work for concealed carry? These are pretty stiff and have an insert for rigidity.

What's your opinion/experience?

That's what I use. Not that particular belt, but one like it I bought from Cabela's. I wear it every day whether I'm carrying or not, unless I'm wearing dress slacks with too-small belt loops.

I use a 5.11 Trainer Belt which is the same as the Operator just .25 narrower. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and have been pleased with the performance and quality. I like the adjustment of the belt as you can easily compensate when changing holsters or other gear.

Just be sure to allow for the extra length required for your holster and any other gear when specifying length. Also, make sure the belt is not too wide to fit you holster and or belt loops on your pants.

Check out the Wilderness Instructors Belt. The 5-stitch is plenty stiff. If you are not currently using a gun belt you are doing yourself a disservice.
