Yep; the literal stop and search has been in effect in much of modern Europa for a long time.
 
Won't be long before acquiring a driver's license is interpreted as consenting to random searches of your vehicle.

How much longer before buying a firearm constitutes consent to allow searches of the home . . . just to insure it's safe storage, of course?
