New York's big news lawsuit against arms manufacturers may be doing us a favor. Since S&W is included in that suit, they are probably now thinking how dumb they were to cave in to pressure. Their "agreement" cannot constrain any suits filed after it. All they did was buy some time at the expense of a royally p*ssed off customer base.
When the other manufacturers see this point, they will know that caving in to similar "agreements" will still not get them off any hooks, and they should be stronger in their resolve to resist selling out.
Hang in there, Glock and SIG and Ruger and Taurus and all the others. Fighting the suits may be tough, but the other way lies bankruptcy and ruin.
