NY Times on NSSF Shot Show Speech

Yeah, I couldn't believe I was reading the N.Y. Times.

I sent a letter to the Ed saying that the NSSF is where the NRA was back in the 60's -- interested in promoting shooting sports and nothing more.

They only climbed into the political ring when the drive to disarm America became apparent.

Finally, the worm appears to be turning. Let's hope those some more of those other "gun owners" bestir themselves.

Regarding getting those "other gun owners" to bestir themselves - I point out that their hunting rifles look like evil sniper weapons, of no use to a civilian, to a gun-grabber. That oftens gets them to at least roll over, if not actually awaken.
