Subject: Gun owners "Vote Your Conscience" demonstration, State
Republican Committee Headquarters Press Release

Second Amendment Civil Rights activists will be holding a Vote Your
Conscience demonstration outside of State Republican Committee
Headquarters Albany, Wednesday November 1st to protest the treatment
loyal Republican gun owners have received over the past 12 months from
New York State Republican leadership, in particular Governor George
Pataki.

>From his veto of the DEC firearm accident prevention program for New York
schools (passed nearly unanimously in both houses of the state
legislature), to his gun control plan the governor has undermined
thousands of man hours of volunteer work, as well as the credibility of
thousands of volunteer supporters who have encouraged others to support
the NYS Republican party.

So with Lazio's campaign floundering, one week before the elections, on
the day most of George Pataki's gun control plan goes into effect, Second
Amendment Civil Rights activists will encourage gun owners to take a good
look at the track record of the candidates before them. Look at who
actually supports gun owners, and vote your conscience.

While many local Republican legislators honored our support, others like
Rich Lazio pale beside their third party competition. This is a vote of
No Confidence in George Pataki, NYS Republican leadership and their
respect for gun owners.

We belive that we are taken for granted to the point that state
Republican leadership feels they can erode our rights in order to attract
anti gun votes and still count on our loyalty. As long as their candidate
is slightly less anti gun than the Democrat candidate, we will come back
to them for protection, like some cell block bitch pimped by some tough
con who regulates the abuse from the other cons.

We will be demonstrating between 4:00 and 5:30, people can either park
down at the Capital or the Plaza and walk up hill, up State Street (the
street between the Capital building or the Plaza) a block and a half to
where they will see us. They can park in Washington Park, State Street
runs along the Northern edge of the park, follow State Street East or
down hill about a block and a half.
