Recently, I have been getting a ton of emails from the NRA urging me to contact my state senator to stop the legislation to microstamp firearms. Of course, I sent both an email and made a phonecall to voice my opinion.
This is the most assinine thing I have ever heard of. For those of you who do not know, NY is trying to mandate all semi auto firearms be fitted with microstamped firing pins that will embed the guns information in the primer when it is fired.
This is an obvious attempt by the anti gunners to ban all semi auto handguns in NY. They know the manufacturers will not spend the money for this new technology, so they will opt not to sell guns to NY at all.
I found some pictures of microstamping on the internet that were interesting to see, although completely useless. Check it out:
