Nevada Now Honors Illinois. This brings to 21 the number of states that will honor and Illinois License to Carry. http://nvrepository.state.nv.us/ccw_changes.shtml Illinois does not honor any other states permit/license. IL does have a peaceful journey law that allows those with a permit/license from their state of residence to keep their loaded firearm on them while in their vehicle while traveling through the state. You just can’t get out of your vehicle with a loaded unsecured firearm.
A DC Federal Judge has ruled that DC can’t ban the carrying of firearms outside the home. It is being reported that D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier has instructed her force not to arrest anyone legally able to carry a firearm. As soon as this was reported DC ask for a stay in the ruling which will most likely be granted and those reverting DC to their existing laws banning the carrying of all firearms until it is settled in a higher court. It will be months if not years before this is finally settled unless DC just gives up and accepts the Judges order which is unlikely. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-dc-ban-on-gun-carry-rights-unconstitutional/

You can see the memo that when out to all officers telling them not to enforce the ban on carrying firearms outside the home. http://alangura.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/07-137-14.pdf
http://www.handgunlaw.us was under a DDoS attack from a frontinernet user IP. We can only track users so far and when they are using a phony IP address, it takes the ISP [in this case, Frontiernet.net] to track it further and get the problem stopped. Frontiernet was notified of the attack (Twice) and we asked for their assistance in tracking down the person/s responsible. http://www.handgunlaw.us has not had any reply from Frontiernet.
For clarification, the following has been posted on http://www.handgunlaw.us
