NRA Takes off the Kid gloves

I was happy to see the NRA come out swinging and let the people know the facts about the Clinton Gore agenda on gun control. It's fun to see your money at work

Entirely true, Gale. I only hope that the NRA doesn't back down from their position.

From my perspective, they've got nothing to lose. Call Clinton a liar and the media villifies them. Take it back and the media villifies them. Don't do anything and the media villifies them. Anyone else see a pattern forming? ;)

Clinton is the most conteptuous excuse for a President that this country has ever seen. The First Felon is finally being identified as what he really is.

I'm upping my NRA membership level.
Thanks Wayne. Thanks Chuck.
Don't back off. You've called the bully out, now we'll see that he doesn't have the fight in him after all.

I am so happy the NRA did this. I didn't see anything on TV, but our local rabid anti-Bill of Rights rag (St. Louis Post Dispatch) was so upset that they printed the A.P. version of the story on the front page!
In doing so, they had to print qoutes by Wayne LaPierre and Charlston Heston calling Bill Clinton exactly what he is: a sick liar.
Thought I'd never see the day the Post would print that, in any form.
I don't care how it plays in the media, the plain truth can be ugly.
I am sending the NRA $100 in appreciation tonight.

The beautiful thing is that the more Clinton complains about it, the more the quotes get played in the media. On a local radio show, kind of a local left vs right debate type of format, the leftist got roughed up pretty good. All the callers agreed with the NRA position and had facts to back it up!!! It showed the supidity of the clinton statements. I mean it is OK for billy boy to blame the NRA for every gun death in the world, but don't call him an ambulance chaser.

Could the fact that an NRA Board election is in progress have anything to do with the "Winning Team's" new cojones?

Wouldn't want to have to let the "extremists" back in, would we?

I'll tell ya what..
i've been bad mouthin the nra for a few weeks here now...but it seems they reached way down and found a set...and I'm very happy with that...
If they maintain , they may have another member..

During a fund raising appearance here last night in the land of Heir Von Echt Daley, Clinton claimed that he once had a "NRA Life Membership". He went on to claim that it has probably been "revoked by now".

Can anyone verify the validity of his membership status?

MEF: Well, if that's why they did it, they're too late; I had that sucker in the mail a couple of days after I got it, voting for the "do not vote for" slate.

Paul Revere: Shortly after Clinton made that statement, the NRA issued a press release to the effect that he was lying again, (No suprise there!) and that nobody with the name "Bill Clinton" had ever been a member of the NRA, let alone a life member. It would be nice if the media reported it when Clinton lies, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm glad the NRA has taken a strong stand against Klinton. He was here in Chicago last night and Fox News had a poll to see if the people watching thought Klinton used violence for his political adgenda. They received over 1000 votes and I am happy to say 79% of the voters thought he does what the NRA says that he does. Score one for the NRA in a Demikratic city! :D :D

I called the NRA-ILA this morning and talked with a staffer there. She said they are getting a small amount of static from some of the pro-appeasement members, but the vast majority of member response to Wayne LaPierre's comments and to Charlton Heston's "That's a Lie" commercial has been entirely positive. If you have a minute, you might want to call and speak up in favor of the NRA's recently rediscovered spine.
NRA-ILA is at 800-392-8683.

She said that there would definitely NOT be an apology for Wayne's comments, and that the commercials will continue.

My check's in the mail.

It probably would be a welcome gesture
if we e-mail Wayne with our encouragement.

Mr. LaPierre, Mr. Heston, and others
are in the media's sights. I'm certain
our support would be appreciated.

Sometimes the truth hurts, I hope they dont back down, and turn the heat up a little more. AS for GW Bush shut up and stay out of this fight, if he chimes in anywhere the press will tar and feather him.
