NRA Special TV Production

Some time ago, NRA informed me thru a bulletin that they are planning on running a one hour long special before the election. They claim they did this same thing back in 199[2?] with great results.
Does anybody know the schedule of this specail production as, I want to be darn sure and spread the word well in advance.

Caught the last 20 minutes of what I believe is a half hour presentation on the California "assault weapon" ban and attendant confusion and harm to law abiding citizens.

I am curious as to whether it was specifically for California as it included comments from member(s) of Oakland police, Alameda Co. Sheriff, Orange Co. Sheriff, etc. Lots of women gun owners as well.

I saw the same one about a month ago. While it is worth seeing, it is not the "special production" that they were talking about.
Relating to the show you saw, it is interesting that all interviewed [Sherrif, lawyers, FFLs, gunowners] could not understand the Calif. assault rifle laws.
Utter confusion.

California's purposely vague SB23 has people scared, taking extraordinary measures to avoid being targeted. Two of the folks in that video are Brenda and Dale Martenia, probably the nicest and most knowledgeable folks in the industry. They own and operate DM Custom Handguns in Sacramento, CA. Dale built the race revolver below for me, to use in Speed Challenge and similar events. When I last talked with them, they were actively pursuing relocating to a friendlier state, which is a shame because they have quite a following in California. Funny thing is, when I received orders from California to Florida in the summer of 1999, I carried 300 30-round AK-47 mags for another friend who wasn't able to leave until after they were banned effective 1 January 2000. That's sad.
