NRA Programs

While at the gun range last fall, I decided to try one of the many NRA marksmanship programs. Not only did I learn how to shoot weak handed, I had a ton of fun doing it! Way more fun than just blasting away at targets. The challange made it more fun. I recommend these programs to anyone that wants to sharpen his or her shooting skills.:)

JDG,

Congratulations are in order. You have every right to be proud of your accomplishments.
As an NRA Instructor, I can tell you I wish more people would get involved in these programs, especially Basic Pistol. These courses stress two things that I see totatally neglected by so many students that supposedly know handguns when the show up for my class, (NRA Basic Pistol is req'd for License to Carry in CT), safety and fundamentals. Like any discipline, the basics are so important to build from.
Once again, great job.

Take Care

I just signed up for a basic pistol (NRA) program at the Sippican Rod and Gun Club for my non-res LTC class A license in Rochester, Commiechusetts! I am looking forward to the class!
