NRA listed as Hate Group:

Darn right we're a "hate group!" We categorically hate anyone who tries to take away our rights.

This link is also supplied on that page: http://www.billpalmer.com/amend2.htm
which has a section entitiled
"Gun Ownership Links From Diverse Groups"

I seem to recall from a recent news article (maybe in the Denver Post or something, don't recall), that some TRT member was accused by a MMM of being anti-semitic. Sucks for him, because he was also Jewish! Someone here probably knows htis story better than I do, so I'll leave out the few other details I remember.

We've had a pretty good discussion about this in the last couple of days, either here or on the Legal forum.

Smith & Wesson is dead to me.

If you want a Smith & Wesson, buy USED!

I think we should all e-mail the Wiesenthal Group and suggest that HCI and the MMMers should be added as a real hate-group. After what was witnessed at the MMMarches in DC and Chicago, they definately qualify.

Yeah, there has been a discussion of this over on Legal/Political. "Women Against Gun Control" is a hate group?

The sad part is that Simon Wiesenthal was pretty much a heroic person. Aside from collecting data, he provided inspiration to Nazi hunters. The most notorius Nazi they caught, of course, was Adolph "I was just following orders" Eichmann.

Apparently the foundation lazily did a key-word search of some sort. Aside from the childish idiocy of including the NRA, check out the "Beaver County Militia". One of the funnier sites on the Web...

It certainly damages the credibility of the Simon Weisenthal Center by listing the Beaver County Militia. I went through that the Beaver County Militia site and it was a hoot! The photos and stories are priceless. Thanks Art.

4V50 Gary is right. The Wiesenthal center's credibility has lost points in my book. The Wiesenthal center (of which I have toured) looks like they are scared of everyone. Apparently if you are not Jewish you are associated with a hate group. Give me a break. I know several Jews who have gun collections that put mine to shame.

You have to forgive him.
Saul is just another misguided Jew who has forgotten the meaning of the phrase "NEVER AGAIN!!"

Looking at the above link and the web site it takes one to, I do not see anything that looks even remotely like a web address or email address. Can you furnish one?

Alan:

I didnt see an e-mail address for them either.

It could be that they are not interested in other peoples opinions. They are here to tell you what to think. End of story. Not debate, no discussion.

Besides, people this paranoid with an "enemies list" drawn up,...have their minds already "made up".

They are not going to change our minds into areeing with their lunacy, and we are not ever going to convince them that free men should be armed.

You would think that the Warsaw Ghetto uprising would be proof enough.

You would think that what happened to them by a legally elected government which carried out a Holocaust against them,..would be enough.

You would think that whats happening in the Middle East. An example of just how quickly a "peace process" and how quickly would-be friends can attack you,.. (literally overnight) would be proff enough.

but its not.

How soon they all forget.

MH.
