Alot of gun owners seem to think that the United Nations is not a threat to our right to arms - and they are dead wrong.
The UN's stated goal is worldwide citizen disarmamnet. They make no bones about it. They do not attempt to hide their agenda.
Gun owners in this nation had better wake up and smell the coffee or they won't be gun owners five years from now, if the UN gets its way.

The UN will never get its way because the US constitution expressly forbids any other soverign nation or body from impopsing its will on the US.

I also seem to remember some U.S. troops getting in hot water for refusing to take orders from a UN officer (not an American) after Clinton had deployed them on a UN controlled mission (Bosnia?).
The UN is also behind the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) 100%. What makes you so sure they will not come after our guns? Rebecca Peters, IANSA's leader, sure wants them!
These little things are chipping away at our sovereignty.

If the Democrats get control of Congress this November and the Democrat candidate wins the 2008 Presidential election, they will bend over backwards to make the UN gun ban and confiscation plan become reality here in the United States. The Dems and the UN are singing off the same sheet of music on this one.
Look at the Democrats in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives - 90 to 95% of them are dyed in the wool antigun zealots. Look at their voting records - they can sing and dance all they want, but their voting records reveal their true colors.
What to do? It's really very simple: Don't vote for antigun zealots - Democrat or Republican!!!
Our right to arms: Once it's gone, it's gone. Vote accordingly.
