Upcoming NRA classes for you or anyone else who might be interested:
10/20/02- Basic Pistol-8:00-6:00
This course provides a new shooter with a hands-on experience where the student will
learn safe firearm handling, methods of operating different types of pistols, ammunition
and its function, shooting fundamentals, firearms selection, cleaning and storage of
firearms. This 10 hour course offers a solid base upon which a student can safely build
their shooting skills and includes several hours of actual shooting time on the range.
All course materials including firearms, ammunition and targets will be provided. A
certificate of training will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete
the course. Student/instructor ratio will be no more than 5:1.
Tuition is $75.00 or $125.00 for two who sign up together. For minor children attending
with an adult, the fee is $25.00.
11/10/02- Personal Protection- 8:00-6:00
This 10 hour course is the next phase in the NRA program and is intended to further
develop the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe use of a handgun for
self-protection. It also provides information on a citizen’s right to self-defense. The
student will need to provide their own firearm and ammunition. A certificate of training
will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course.
Student/instructor ratio will be no more than 5:1.
Prerequisite: Basic pistol, equivalent training or pre-course evaluation test.
Tuition is $100.00 or $175.00 for two who sign up together. For minor children attending
with an adult, the fee is $25.00.
A 50% deposit is required to reserve a spot. All major credit cards accepted.
