NRA Annual Meeting Questions

Hey All,

I'm going to attend the NRA Annual Meeting on Friday, 4/13. However, I do have a question. I know admission to the exhibit hall is free for NRA members, but do you have to get advance tickets (or, can you to save time) or do you just flash your NRA card at the door to get it? Thanks!

The two that I attended in Pittsburgh had ticket-like offices where you presented your card to get a pass into the event. Once inside you went to another area to receive your credentials/member status; Reg,Life,Patron ect...

If you'd like to attend the member's dinner or breakfast you'd be wise to reserve space ahead of time. But either way I strongly encourage you to attend. You'll not soon forget the experience...

Always wondered if they let you carry a firearm at these events? I realize all local legal requirements must be met.

The rule is "no." They don't want some yeah-hoo pulling out his loaded CCW and "seeing if it will fit" a holster on display or showing it off to his buddy or asking the exhibitor rep to look at why it has a gritty trigger pull or such.

But I have never seen them screen with metal detectors.
