So, I did my part to help ... perhaps you can send your own message, and question, for George W.:

quote:
I want to thank George W. Bush for signing a law allowing handguns into
churches, synagogues, mosques, hospitals and nursing homes. And, when does he plan to extend more lenient concealed carry rights to all law-abiding Texans, similar to those laws in Vermont? Thank you.
quote:
I would like to thank Gov. Bush for signing into law the "Civilian Handgun Laws" in Texas. Intelligent study of crime facts in the USA show that for every instance in which a gun is used in the commition of a crime, there are litereally 1000's of instances where a gun is used to save a life, prevent a crime, or capture a felon. Gov. Bush, as President, will you demand a National Civilian Handgun Law so that the good people of the United States may defend themselves and their children from those who would choose violence and drugs as a way of life?
~USP

"[Even if there would be] few tears shed if and when the Second Amendment is held to guarantee nothing more than the state National Guard, this would simply show that the Founders were right when they feared that some future generation might wish to abandon liberties that they considered essential, and so sought to protect those liberties in a Bill of Rights. We may tolerate the abridgement of property rights and the elimination of a right to bear arms; but we should not pretend that these are not reductions of rights." -- Justice Scalia 1998

Here is the question I sent in:

"Traditionally in the United States anything that was not explicitly illegal was legal. We now have so many laws in out country that people no longer can tell what is legal and what is not legal. As President of the United States, what would you do to clear up this confusion and restore to people the feelings that we truly do live in a free country?"

quote:
If you are elected to be the President of the United States, what laws would you work to repeal?
Similar to above:

quote:
Gov. Bush,

Could you name five federal laws you intend to work to repeal, and five federal programs that you intend to defund?
Let's see if it gets asked..... Yeah, right.

PS ... feel free to pass this around on the 'net and via email.

And, while I share many of the sentiments about, since HCI is attacking the RKBA, we might want to ask questions to help defend the RKBA. Just a thought.

Thanks. Regards from AZ

Pass it around, it's good to think about this kind of thing, but remember that the Oprah show is already a done deal. You're not going to hear your question.
