Now what??

I just purchased a used sw 640 2" and took it to the range ran 100 rounds thru it ,shot great, came home to clean and now the cylinder is so loose it just fell out while wiping down:( well does anyone have any ideas why this could happen. Of course ill be contacting the dealer but wanted another opoinion on what may cause this before I called them. Thanks

Thanks, I did not even notice that that screw fell out, did find it on the floor put it back in now works good. Is this normal??? Should I still be concerned for the future? Thanks again.
 
Those screws rarely come loose on their own. Probably the previous owner had loosened it and didn't tighten it enough. Use the proper size screwdriver and really crank it down, and you should have no further problem. I don't recommend LocTite because you want to be able to remove the crane and cylinder for cleaning.
