Now listen up you index finger trigger squeezers!

With 10 lbs trigger pull, how you gonna shoot straight in CQ killing situations?

Gonna be more than 80% trigger squeezing (jerking), misses for thems who's been a training for years and years with lighter trigger pulls. That is if there's any truth to the saying that you will remember your training. Or can you just wave a magic wand and it will all go away? That way you can have it both ways.

Sounds nice but to good to be true.

Hopefully, you will be like me and as you get older, you'll forget most of what you know already, and also become partialy deaf when it comes to stuff like: "sit up, you talk to much, did you here what I say, are you paying attention to what I'm saying..." that way you will ready and open to re-training.

Just sorta poking youse sight shooting trigger squeezers some in the ribs. Just sorta though.

Seriously, you may want to consider using the superior digit for pulling the trigger, the middle one. And while you are at it, go all the way and start using the index finger along side the gun for AIMING, and the left index or middle finger for pulling the trigger. It's a FREE shooting method you can use at your own risk. I call it P&S. It has been around for years.

Here is what a State legislator said the other day about an article on P&S:
- - - - - - - - - - - -
I was taught the P&S method by my father 36 years ago and taught it to both my daughters when they stated shooting. Until today, I never even knew it had a name. It was just the way I was taught to shoot.

It works!

Those of you who have seen my posts here before, know that I am an old fart who doesn't shoot but rarely, who has a patent on a device that I did test and which can be an adjunt to the P&S method and help you P&S accurately, at day or night, with little or no training, and while shooting as fast as you can point your finger at a target and pull the trigger.

If you want to learn more about P&S, visit: http://members.aol.com/okjoe/ps.htm

And before I get drummed out of here for brazenly mentioning a business venture that is going nowhere fast, I am not mentioning it other than in passing as it is a fact, and also I don't think it really will make much of an impression or difference to you hard headed tradition bound shooters. I have been trying to get police agencies and others interested in it for a couple of years now, and most think I am crazy as a loon.

So there you have it...

A pistol is not a small rifle, so why shoot one like it is?

I dont think you are crazy as a loon. I think this method gives greater control. I for one have practiced it and will be practicing it, at least long enough to make the decision to use it completly or to use the traditional way.

Thanks,
Tim : )

Why dont you get rid of that nickel plated sissy pistol and get yourself a glock. :::Tommy Lee Jones:::

This is really a training issue. So before this gets going and it's too late to move it, I'm moving it to the CQC/training forum. Please look for it there...
