Now I'm Superstitious!

Been nervous about this election, never having believed people would re-elect Clinton in 1996...Once again, in 2000, "It's the guns, stupid!" (Not to mention Big Nanny Gummint, the economy, you-name-it.)

So: Watched Monday Night Football. Just before the game started, they announced that in EVERY presidential election year where the Redskins played a home game just before the election, if the Skins won, the incumbent won. If the Skins lost, the challenger won.

Titans 27, Redskins 21. :)

Let us hope, pray and walk widdershins.

I'm willing to hang my hat on anything right now. I tell you, Bush is doing a GREAT job looking cool and confident. Hope he is right cause the Zogby state tracking polls really worry me......

But the Titans won. When I heard the track record, I rooted HARD for the titans even though Skin's have got 2 Bama players on their squad !

Madison, check out www.portraitofamerica.com . My understanding is that their research has historically been more accurate than Zogby. POA has GWB ahead by 6-7% in the popular vote, which translates into a very solid victory in electoral votes.

I find it interesting that no media outlet except FoxNews have been willing to broadcast POA's data. Hmmmmmmm.

Glock-A-Ron,

Media doesn't report much on PoA numbers because they use a new method of collecting poll data. They use a computer to make the call and the person answering push the key pad to answer the question.

I like PoA's numbers, but have to be worried that a 12 year old is answering the phone. Having said that, they have been considered, this past primary season, the most accurate followed by Gallup AND ZOGBY. So I do worry. Course we will see. Primary Polling is easier. You don't have to weight the poll because you got too many GOP one night or too many Dems another night.

I do have a problem with Zogby showing Gore getting 51% in FL.

On the inside poll numbers, I like the fact Bush is getting 51% of the married women vote - that usually means the hubby is also voting Bush.

Could be a blow out for Bush just as easily as a slight win for Gore. I DO NOT think Gore will win big, but I think Bush has a chance.
