Novak Tritium Sights for Glock Any Good?

I saw some tritium sights for Glock pistols in a Dillon Precision catalog recently. The sights are pretty expensive (about $180 for both front and rear). I especially like the fact that the rear sight has a set screw in it to secure it inside the dovetail. Anyone know anything about these sights? Is there a white outline around the tritium for day usage? Or, do you know of any other (cheaper) sights that have a set screw (so I don't have to use Loc-Tite) Any information would be appreciated.

I have Meprolight night sights on my G27 and issue G23. $70.00 a set. Use a dot of clear finger nail polish on the rear sight cut out, in the center. Another dot on the front sight screw hole. Hope this helps. Novaks $180.00 each ?*!#? Yikes...

Heap of quality nite sights avail for much less than $180. Wilson "nite eyes", Meps, Ashely Express big or samll dots...

The Wilson's use a set screw. Ashley's can be had both ways. MMC adj sights use the set screw also. Take a look a Heinie's sights also, www.heinie.com/

one more thought... don't buy access from Dillons- check around and you'll find cheaper prices most of the time.

Dude,

I would highly recommend that you look into Arotek's low-profile nite sights. For around $80, they're a steal. And they're very easy to install.

I bought Meps on my HK USP and I don't have any problems with them moving on me. The Meps are made about 1/32 too big, so when you install them it takes out a little metal from the dovetail and makes a nice tight fit. I bought mine for $69 installed. They have nice white rings around them for day use as well and big green dots at night. I love them! $180 seems like a lot of money, but they are Novaks. Novaks are about the best combat sights available.
