Nova H2O Pump

I just got a Benelli Nova H2O Pump for my 40th birthday. Handles and shoots very nice. 3" Slugs are nasty! I can't imagine what 3 1/2 slugs or buckshot would be like!! Anyhow....I've been searching for the mag extensions. Looks like I'm out of luck...legally with the +2(or 3) factory or aftermarket. The way 27USC478.39 reads is "in excess of 5 rounds". The Nova holds 4 in the mag plus 1 in the tube. Why doesn't someone (or does someone?) manufacture a +1 for the Nova to keep things "legal"? I've got a +1 extension on my 870 from Scattergun Technologies (pre-Wilson) that works fine.

Anyone?
 
Nova mag extension

I spoke with a Benelli dealer yesterday up in PA. He also stated that there is no more importation of the factory mag extensions. He had one blued +2 extension and he was selling it for $265!!! He also sells new Nova's with Ghost Ring sights for $300!!! He said the USA made after market mag extensions for the imported pump shotguns are illegal. Evidently the law I quoted in my post applies to pump shotguns too. He said the demand is high for the Benelli extensions because once you put one on the shotgun there is no way to prove that it didn't come that way.
