Nova barrel question

I'm thinking about getting a longer barrel for my Nova. I currently have one with an 18" tube. It's the only pump I can work really well, and I'd like to use it for hunting. Do I need to get a new barrel fitted, or will it drop in?

Well, if you get one for the Nova it'll just drop in. Mucho $$$ though, I'll tell you that right now.

I have a 26" 20ga and really enjoy shooting it at the trap range. Nothing quite like outshooting all these six-figure salary guys while my $299 Nova tupperware nestles comfortably between their $1800 O/U's in the rack. :p
 
i know this thread is ancient but i was wondering how the nova would work with the tactical sights and an add on 24 or 26" longer tube? i was thinking of picking up the 18 incher but want to add a longer tube to it also, tia.
