SVI/Infinity 2011-style (double-stack) pistols holding 18+1 rounds of .40 S&W. Getting one of these new from Infinity today would run you somewhere in the neighborhood of $4,500 -- or perhaps more, since the mags are very pricey, and these come with four apiece. These guns come with the bull-barrel setup, which I love. Very curious as to which city's SWAT teams were equipped with them.
I can't speak from experience regarding SVI/Infinity pistols from the '90s, but today's SVI/Infinity pistols are a definite level up in precision from anything you'll find from a semi-custom shop. I've never heard that their older pistols are any different.
