I have a 22 long rifle with a barrel that reads, The marlin firearm company: GLENFIELD M60. The serial number for the rifle is 71495256. M60 are tube fed while the rifle I have uses a 7 or 10 rd magazine clip. Is it possible that someone put a M60 barrel on a M70 rifle. Post 1998 clips dont fit in this rifle either, they are loose and the bump on my 7 rd clip is much larger than the newer clips. Thanks everyone.
 
I could have the same exact Marlin Glenfield 60 7-shot clip-fed .22. Nice enough .22 when they still had wood. Squirrel-shaped checkering in the semi-pistol grip? Think it came with a scope. Pretty accurate...
