Yesterday I had to let go of a great friend, my 15 year old yellow Lab, Blossom.
I knew this day was coming for a while now. So much so I have 2 other Labs already in the house to comfort me on the loss as I knew it was going to be the worst thing I ever had to do. And it was. But at 15, she had a good run. She was everythign a great dog is supposed to be. She couldn't run any more from bad hips. Even had difficulty getting to get up but she fought on. As most dogs who live that long is was cancer that caught up with her. I will miss her dearly but I know in my heart she is better off runnig around the Rainbow Bridge waiting for us to join her.
Rest now Blossom, you deserve it!
