It's easy to find posts where someone is dissatisfied with a vendor or manufacturer. Those frequently lead to dog pile sessions (assuming they don't start that way) where everybody jumps on board and beats the poo out of the "offender".
That being the case, I thought I'd share my latest experience with Nosler.
I ordered some bullets from their website last week. http://www.shootersproshop.com/
The stuff arrived today. My plan was to load some Colt in preparation for the weekend's hunt.
I popped open the box and was greeted with the correct two boxes of 10mm bullets and three boxes of 230 gr JHP instead of the 250 gr JHP I ordered. The invoice was correct. Someone at their place grabbed the HG4460 instead of HG4450.
I grabbed my phone and called the number on the invoice. As my luck so frequently goes, I got their voice mail. That's when I stepped to the computer to look for a different phone number. It was the same number so I called it a second time just a few minutes after the first call.
When the guy answered it was obvious he got my message. As soon as I said my name he told me he was looking into it. Being late in the day, FedEx was due at their place during the call. He got my info and said he needed to get on it and would call me back.
A few minutes later he returned my call and gave me a UPS 2nd day air tracking number. They have included a shipping label for me to return the incorrect parts.
In my book, that's excellent customer service. We're all human and any one of us can make mistakes. In this case, it was cutting things a little close for comfort. I asked if he could have the bullets here by Thursday. That will fit my schedule and allows them to not have to pay the insane charges for next day air. It seemed a reasonable request. He didn't argue and is getting the job done.
If you guys haven't checked out their site, you need to do so. They have cosmetically blemished bullets (look fine to me) for sale fairly cheap. From Nov 24 to Dec 1 they will have a sale going on.
Check 'em out and get some good deals.
