North Carolina - HB 831 Personal Protection in Restaurants

spoke with my local representatives - was told that this bill, which would repeal the "restaurant ban" for CCW, is being prevented from being discussed / moved along the legislative process by Rep. Deborah K. Ross (Dem) of Wake County, NC.

Yep, you are right about it being stalled. It will never get to a vote because of the people fighting against it.

What exactly would this repeal? Not being able to go into restaurants that serve alcohol or ?.

Yup, if the restaurant serves any alcohol, carry is NOT allowed.

I have a large number of friends and acquaintances in Wake county, NC; so have forwarded this info so as to get to a wide audience. I don't know if it will have an affect, but it won't hurt. Some are politically connected.
