Norinco trainer .22

I posted this in Harley's forum but I haven't seen a response yet.
A friend of mine just picked up a Norinco .22 Trainer.
Model # TU-KKW sn# 9103xxx
It has a the profile of a 98 Mauser. Looks very well made.
Does anyone have any experience with these? History, value, where might you get extra mags etc.

I have had one of those 22 for several years now and darn if it hasn't replaced my 10/22 on my trips to the range. It's accurate and has a great trigger (even my discerning friend who is a firearms instructor for the Sheriff's Dept. agrees on these points). I use it for off hand practice and it is very pleasant to shoot.
