Norinco: more to consider

Over the years, folks have been discussing the ethics of buying a Chinese firearm. Last night I read this on the BBC, haven't seen it yet on US news sites. China North Industries is Norinco.

I suppose it's escaped your attention that the US is selling arms to India and Pakistan, or that we armed Iraq and Iran, or that the weapons we sold to the Taliban in Afghanistan when they were fighting off Russia were then used against us.

That never escaped my attention. As you said, sierra foxtrot whiskey. Norinco is selling missile delivery tech to Iran. I posted a link for anyone's consideration, and anyone's free to consider or dismiss.

Chinese exported weapons to the U.S. have been limited since the mid-1990's to a few shot guns. It doesnt make sense to block norinco weapons and buy everything else the country sells. Norinco is an extension of the Chinese gov. Its a political illusion to tell China we wont buy whats behind door number 2 but we will buy whats behind door number 3 because door number 3 is more politically correct.
